Insel Mainau — Dahlia Displays

The flower island of Mainau in Lake Constance is one of Germany's most visited attractions. Its dahlia displays, planted in sweeping drifts across the baroque gardens, feature over 12,000 dahlia plants in 250 varieties. The island's mild microclimate produces some of the longest-lasting dahlia blooms in Central Europe. Open daily March through October.
